Acceptable Use Policy

Content standards, moderation, reporting and enforcement for AI-generated content on Voiceshard

2026/10/06

Last Updated: October 6, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs all content submitted to and generated by Voiceshard, including Text to Speech, AI Cover, and Voice Cloning output. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Content Standards and Prohibited Categories

The Service prohibits generating the following six categories of content:

  • Pornography and NSFW content. Sexually explicit or sexually suggestive audio content is prohibited outright.
  • Violence and gore. Audio glorifying graphic violence, torture, or bodily harm.
  • Hate speech. Content attacking people based on protected attributes such as race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, or sexual orientation.
  • Child-unsafe content (CSAM). Any content that sexualizes minors or endangers children.
  • Deepfakes and impersonation of real people without consent. Cloning or imitating a real person's voice to deceive, defame, harass, or defraud — including political disinformation and fraudulent "scam calls".
  • Content that infringes copyrights or trademarks. Using voices, scripts, songs, or other materials you do not own or have permission to use.

2. Absolutely Prohibited — Zero Tolerance

The following will be actioned immediately and may be reported to the relevant authorities:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors.
  • Content that promotes or facilitates terrorism, extremism, or mass violence.
  • Technical instructions for weapons of mass destruction.
  • Content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred.
  • Non-consensual sexual deepfake content targeting real individuals.

3. Restricted — Subject to Review

  • Violent content must have a clear creative or educational context.
  • Politically sensitive content must not be misleading.
  • Medical, legal, or financial content must comply with local regulations.

4. Generally Prohibited Conduct

  • Generating or spreading misinformation or disproven claims.
  • Impersonating real individuals, brands, or organizations.
  • Infringing intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights.
  • Deceiving users by passing AI-generated content off as human-created.
  • Bulk-generating spam or deceptive commercial content.
  • Jailbreak prompts designed to bypass the Service's safety measures.

5. Content Moderation

We operate a multi-layer moderation system combining automated filtering, human review, and periodic audits:

  • Automated review (real-time). All prompts and generated audio pass through automated content-safety filtering operated by our upstream voice model provider, Fish Audio, applied in real time to both inputs and outputs. Requests rejected by these filters never produce output, and any reserved credits are released.
  • Human review. Auto-flagged and user-reported content enters a manual review queue before further action is taken.
  • Periodic audits. We periodically sample content and review filter effectiveness to improve detection.
  • AI disclosure. Generated audio is disclosed as AI-generated, including on public share pages.

6. Reporting Violations

Report violations to support@voiceshard.com with the subject line [Content Report]. Please include:

  • The link to the share page, or the voice/generation name involved
  • A description of the problem and the right affected (for example, copyright, trademark, or likeness)
  • Your contact information if you would like a follow-up

This inbox is actively monitored by a human. Rights holders can also use the same channel for takedown requests.

7. Response and Processing Timelines
